Happy Birthday to me ! :)

To start with  i would like to thank all my friends who wished me , gave me buddy bumps and to all those who didnt ask for a treat

As a child i always waited for 16th Jan to arrive . I would start counting days from the very next day after the new years. But off late i have lost the charm of the birthday . I didn’t wait for16th Jan this time . And when the calendar actually showed the date it was a just another day for me , except the phone calls , sms’s and the Gtalk pings for the wishes.

The Birthday started with huge number of phone calls from friends (Jasmeet was the first one the call….  ) sms’s and my “thanks a lot” reply . Some people also called up at 3am and 4am . I really have no grudges against any of you but i really prefer people calling me before 2am.To my surprise of my oldest friends settled in Boston also called me up. Some nostalgia moments

It was college time now. As soon as i entered the college i could hear the usual “maaaarroooooo” sounds from behind . I looked behind and some IT people were running towards me . In a split second i began my sprint but just to evade to the canteen where there were double the number of people waiting for me  ! I was bashed up by some and ‘left‘ by some (beta tum loogo ka bday bhi aane wala hai… tab dekhna ) .

Then it was a usual happy birthday greetings from all the class mates . Some even went to the extent of stopping a class in between , standing up and singing the “Happy Birthday to you” song . Thanks a lot guys .

I treated some of my friends , some still left (every one wants a party in this recession time.. yaaro samjha karo .. paise nahi hai !) . Would treat half of them in CP tomorrow . Got book bank today for this semester. Had to carry some 100kg load back home . What a birthday gift .

I am now 20 years ‘young‘ and have been advice by mom and dad to behave like one . I am required to be more responsible and leave the ‘childish‘ practices that i indulge in . I would try to do that , but rest assure i would be the same ‘me‘ who you all know !

Thanks Shruti for opening a Birthday thread on Pagalguy.com and ‘getting‘ people to wish me . Thanks Nishant for wishing me at 3am when we both were half slept, thanks Durgesh for letting me come before him in the book bank line and saving my 2 hours and efforts , thanks Jassi for giving me missed calls 5 times so that i call you back and you save on your mobile bills, thanks Tarun for treating me with a cup of coffee , thanks Prashant for giving me those pics which i wanted since ages and finally thanks Deeksha (my only cousin sister) for calling me from Dubai and wishing me.

Finally , thanks to all those who wished me  , or wanted to but couldn’t .
